MEET OUR KEYNOTE SPEAKERS:
PS. STEPHEN BOHR
Pastor Stephen Bohr, MA, MDiv. has spent decades in ministry and mission service and has authored several books. He was born in Wisconsin but grew up in Venezuela and Colombia, where his parents served as career missionaries. His heavy speaking schedule has taken him to virtually every corner of the planet. His love for the Lord is the driving force behind his commitment to spreading the cutting-edge gospel message for these last days with clarity and power. Pastor Bohr holds his Emeritus Ministerial Credential by the order of the Pacific Union Conference.
Retired from his 40 years of denominational work, Pastor Bohr has served as a local church pastor, university theology teacher, conference youth/Pathfinder director, ministerial secretary, and evangelist. He is currently the full-time President and speaker of Secrets Unsealed (SUMtv). He is also fluent in Spanish and has a variety of topics available in both languages. His 52-part groundbreaking series “Cracking The Genesis Code” is the result of over 14 years of in-depth study. Pastor Bohr also teaches a seminary-level course of study for the Secrets Unsealed ANCHOR School of Theology class in Fresno, California, on the fundamentals of Seventh-day Adventist theology. Pastor Bohr and his wife, Aurora, are faithful members of the Fresno Central Seventh-day Adventist Church. They have been married for over 50 years and have two adult children.

Gideon Reyneke het ‘n dissipel van Jesus geword 44 jaar gelede toe hy gedoop is. Hy vier hierdie jaar 30 jaar in die bediening wat Literatuur Evangelis, predikant, en toe later as departementele direkteur by die Konferensie, Unie & Divisie insluit. Hy dien tans as Uitvoerende Sekretaris by die Suider Afrika-Indiese Oseaan Divisie (Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division) vanaf 2016.
Hy en sy vrou Rhona is geseënd om hierdie jaar hul 40ste huweliksherdenking te vier. Hulle het twee seuns met huisgesinne wat vir hulle die pragtigste, cuteste & slimste vyf kleinkinders in die wêreld gegee het. Gideon en Rhona geniet kampeer, tuinwerk, reis, bergfiets en stap, maar hul grootste genot is om God te aanbid met alles in hulle en om God se kerk en hul medemens tot diens te wees.

PS. BRAD MILLS
Brad and his wife, Lina, along with their two sons, Levi and Lucas, have served in a wide range of mission contexts, from the Amazon basin in South America to a bustling metropolis in a North African country. With nearly two decades of international experience in both nonprofit administration and mission-driven leadership.
He is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Arabic, and holds a Master of Science in Nursing and is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. His theological training includes a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Andrews University and two mission diplomas from the Institute of World Missions.
Brad’s previous roles have included leadership positions with the Middle East and North Africa Union, Northwest Brazil Union, Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA), and several Urban Centers of Influence. He has served as a professor, church planter, nonprofit director, and mission strategist—always with a heart for service and a calling to uplift and disciple communities through Christ-centered initiatives.

LAURENCE BURN
Laurence Burn serves as the Training Director at Adventist Frontier Missions (AFM), where he has dedicated more than 20 years to preparing missionaries and equipping leaders for service around the world. Originally from Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, Laurence sensed a call to ministry early in life. After moving to Heidelberg in seventh grade, he pursued theological studies at Weimar College in California, where he also gained valuable cross-cultural experience teaching at Palau Mission Academy in Micronesia. He later completed a Master of Divinity at Andrews University. His pastoral journey began in California, where he served for four years as youth pastor at the Roseville Seventh-day Adventist Church in Sacramento. He then spent six years as a chaplain and associate pastor at Andrews University, before joining AFM.
At AFM, Laurence is recognized for his engaging teaching style, cross-cultural understanding, and practical insights into team dynamics. His role includes missionary training, organizational consulting, and leadership development in both nonprofit and business contexts. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the PhD in Leadership program at Andrews University, where he teaches strengths-based leadership and team development. As a certified Gallup strengths coach and trained mediator, he regularly facilitates team-building retreats and conflict resolution for churches, ministries, and leadership teams.
Whether mentoring grassroots church planters in Southeast Asia or guiding executives through strategic transitions, Laurence brings a thoughtful, Christ-centered, and empowering presence to his work. He and his wife, Lois, live in Michigan and are blessed with two children: Ruth, who is married to Pastor Jeff Bradburn and teaches at a Seventh-day Adventist school in Portland, and Jonathan, a mechanical engineering graduate of Walla Walla University.
WHAT IS MISSION CONVENTION?
The Mission Convention is a groundbreaking event designed to inspire, equip, and mobilize members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for mission work. Hosted by Adventist Frontier Missions and Abundant Life, this convention promises to be a milestone in the church’s outreach efforts.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
1. Exhibition
The convention will feature an extensive exhibition where mission, evangelical, and outreach projects from across the SID can showcase their work. This is an excellent opportunity to gain visibility, network, and encourage other church members to get involved. The Sedaven High School Hall will transform into an exhibition space with 50 booths available for booking. Secure your spot early, with options for both single and double stands.
2. Seminars
A diverse range of seminars will be offered, focusing on how to start, support, and fund mission projects. These sessions, led by local and international experts, are open to all delegates and exhibitors.
3. Worship Services
Join us for uplifting morning and evening worship services in the Main Hall, featuring Pastor John Bradshaw from “It Is Written” as the main speaker, alongside other inspiring speakers. These services will include special music, personal testimonies, and highlights from various mission projects, designed to inspire and spiritually uplift attendees of all ages.
4. Children’s Programs
Abundant Life, with its expertise in children’s ministry, has prepared a fun, mission-focused program for children of all ages that will run throughout the convention. This program aims to immerse children in God’s word and prepare them for future mission work.
5. Food Stalls
A limited number of food stalls will be available for vendors, providing a variety of meals and snacks. (Please note, that food stalls will be closed on Sabbath.)
6. Entrepreneurship
We encourage children and young people to participate in entrepreneurial activities, allowing them to create and sell their own products. This initiative aims to inspire a spirit of innovation and enterprise.
